I am starting my own business.

As many of you know, I retired from the Army last year. What you might not know is that as part of my transition I worked for a Startup called MyUnfold. I set up the HR dept, did some Content Blogging and some Business Development. I learned a lot while at MyUnfold and I worked with some great people. Well, I caught the Startup bug so to speak and have been immersing myself in the Startup culture ever since. There are just so many great ideas and great people working on these great ideas.

Based on my experience at MyUnfold and talking to others in the Startup world. I believe there might be a market to provide HR to Founders and new business owners until they bring in their own dedicated HR. I still have to prove that this idea has a place in the market. There are other companies providing this service. Although, not exactly the same service as I plan on providing.

For now I have been networking at various Startup events around the Seattle area and asking for input on my idea. I have received some great feedback which I will use to adjust my idea and my plan.

I plan on providing regular updates on my Startup journey.
