It has been a few weeks since we provided our weekly cavnessHR update.
During this time period, we have done the following.

We attended a few Tacoma Chamber of Commerce https://www.tacomachamber.org/ events to network with other members and to see how cavnessHR can add value to the Tacoma Chamber of Commerce. We are scheduled to attend several more events there.
We have been participating in a communication workshop with Christina Brennan https://www.linkedin.com/in/brennanchristina/ to help us with our communication and pitching skills. She does a great workshop and this will help us with our pitching and other communication skills. If you need to improve your communication skills, we highly recommend you reach out to her.
We continue to reach out to and meet with people about cavnessHR. We have been meeting with an average of 3 people per day about cavnessHR.
We continue to focus on customer acquisition using various method and tools. For our cold email stats using close.com. www.close.com We have a 39% open rate, which is decent. But only a 3% response rate. So we need to figure out what is wrong with our email copy.
We had our quarterly cavnessHR Board of Advisor meeting. They continue to give us great advice and provide perspectives that we are not thinking about.
We took part in a session at the University of Puget Sound https://www.pugetsound.edu/ where we helped them with their portfolio program. UPS has their students set up portfolios that show what they have done vs just doing a resume. Our feedback is that portfolios are great and enable the students to show their true selves and the value they can bring to a position vs a resume.
We might be changing how we edit our podcasts. In the past, we have done the editing ourselves. Which saves us money, but can be time-consuming at times. In the past, we have used people off Fiverr for this but were never really happy with their end product. We recently found two people who are reasonably priced but don't really deliver the end product we want. Then we found a podcasting editing company that charges more money. But they would be more involved and take care of everything. So we need to decide what we are going to do with this. Especially, if we move to pushing out 3 separate podcasts each week along with live streaming.
We are currently updating our keywords for our SEO and redoing the copy of our website and continue to build out our marketing plan.
We met with Olivier Taupin https://www.linkedin.com/in/otaupin/ from Next Dimension Media. Olivier is an influencer who owns groups that contain almost 2 million people and is interested in working with us as content partners. There is also the potential to collaborate on events together. Not sure if this is the right way to spend our time. But we need to at least kick the tires on this so to speak.
