Another week of building cavnessHR. Although I will admit, it is never as fast as I want it.
Also this week, it seemed like I was more of a data entry clerk than someone building a company. But I guess when you think about it, that is part of building a company.
We signed up for the Kauffman Fellows Venture Deals course which is led by Brad Feld. It is being put on by Kauffman Fellows and TechStars. It is going over the basics of fundraising. We have to do assignments and actually engage. It is a 6-week course.
We took part in a 1433 webinar put on by the Washington State Labor and Industries. 1433 is a new law in Washington State that mandates several items to include paid sick time. It was a good webinar and helped to clear up some misconceptions about 1433. So we will be able to pass this info on to our client
We continue to focus on meeting potential clients and customer acquisition. We will share the stats for this on our next update.
We attended the Business Impact NW Grow and Thrive https://businessimpactnw.org/services/classes/growthrive/ pitch and networking event. Six Female businesses pitched their business and shared their visions for their companies. It is always inspiring to hear other business owners talks about how they are building their companies.
We finally finished our competitive analysis. Although finished might not be the right term. As this will be a document that we continue to refine. But for now, we are comfortable using this in our pitch deck.
We have brought on a new developer to the team. Which in theory should mean our MPV will be completed that much sooner.
We are still looking for people to fill out our HR survey on Typeform.
Below is the link to fill out the 7 question survey. We really appreciate you doing this.
