As part of the recruitment for this position. We took part in a job fair at Whidbey Island. Washington by the Navy base there. We met some very talented people at the job fair. Also, the area around Whidbey Island is beautiful.
We did a demo with Close.com https://close.com/ our sales platform to make sure we are using it the right way. They gave us tips and suggestions on how to better utilize the platform. Turns out there are lots of things we were not doing with the sales platform.
We redid our business license for the state of Washington. We are a Delaware C corp. But we still have to register in the state of Washington to do business here. Part of the not sexy part of building a company
We took part in the Bunker Labs National Summit http://www.bunkersummit.info/ in Seattle. This was a national summit of Veteran Entrepreneurs from across the U.S. We made some great connections at the event. There are lots of great Veteran Entrepreneurs doing great things.
We held a cavnessHR retreat on June 22 and June 23. On June 22 we met to discuss the way ahead for cavnessHR and what we need to accomplish during the rest of the year for cavnessHR to continue. Each person then talked about the plan for their area and took questions from everyone else. We covered the following during the meeting.
