We attended the monthly South Sound SHRM https://sps.shrm.org/welcome-south-puget-sound-chapter meeting. This is a great place to network and meet other HR professionals.
Virgilio Cintron https://www.linkedin.com/in/vcintron/ gave a great presentation on HR metrics/data/analytics. It was very informative and he talked about how many of us go down the data rabbit hole. When the business is actually looking for an answer to a different question.

We took part in the bambooHR virtual conference. They had some great speakers and great topics.
The one on how to make the employee onboarding experience strategic was especially useful.
We took course 9 of the HelloSign Digital Transformation course https://www.hellosign.com/digitalstrength It covered developing your digital transformation strategy. We talked about on a previous blog that Payscale will not share their API with us and how we will have to find another solution. Turns out Payscale has around 20 competitors that we did not know about. It will take some time to research these options to see the best one to provide to our customers.
We continue to prep our email lists to send out our HR for small business newsletter. What we are doing is emailing the list 3 times over a three week period asking them if they want to receive the newsletter. That way we can make sure the people on the list actually want to receive the newsletter.
Our interns from UPS have started. We are having one come up with and implement our social media strategy and one will come up and implement our marketing strategy.
We had a meeting with myself, our CTO and two of our interns who help out on the tech side. The meeting was to get a good feel for their background in coding and more stuff.
We continue to work on the redesign of the cavnessHR site and we are making some great progress in that area. The redesign of the site should be completed in a few weeks.
For one of our customers, we are researching HRIS/Payroll solutions for them.
