We did the following this last week at cavnessHR.

We met with Ben Stanley https://www.linkedin.com/in/ben-stanley1/ who is Managing Director of

Gener8tor https://www.gener8tor.com/ which is a startup accelerator out of Madison, Wisconsin. They are recruiting for their next cohort and cavnessHR came up as one of the startups they should reach out to during their nationwide search.

They only accept 5 startups so it is very competitive. But we always welcome the opportunity to talk to new people about cavnessHR

We continue to do our investor outreach. We have contacted 52 investors in the Seattle area that we believe might be a match for cavnessHR. We are reaching out early in order to see if we can build relationships prior to going full fundraising mode. So far 25 have responded. 

We finalized our base HR products for 2019. These will change based on the needs/requirements of each customer. But the hard work of updating them all based on the new HR laws is done.

Our CTO, Jeff came to Seattle for the weekend. We were able to get a lot done on the site and other items. You can do a lot using tech when you are not in the same location. But sometimes there is nothing like working in person.  

We met with one of our Board of Advisors Kevin Goldsmith   https://www.linkedin.com/in/goldsmith/ Jeff gave him an update on the progress we are making on the site and all the security precautions we are taking with cavnessHR.

We have been talking to several designers in the last few weeks. We had a few we really liked,but they decided not to commit to cavnessHR. So, for now, me and Jeff will just do the design as best we can until we can afford to pay a designer.

We have been using HelloSign   www.hellosign.com  as our digital signature platform.  By accident, we came across SigningHub  https://www.signinghub.com/ . SigningHub has more features, is more intuitive and has a better price point. We need to do more research, but it looks like cavnessHR is going to switch to SigningHub. One bad thing is we already paid for the year with HelloSign.

Our time in the Veteran's in Residence https://bunkerlabs.org/our-programs/veterans-in-residence/  is coming to an end. January 31 is our last day. On Thursday, January 24 we are having our capstone event at the Lake Union WeWork from 430 pm to 8 pm  https://www.facebook.com/events/1634434176702937/ cavnessHR will be one of the companies that will be talking about how they benefited from being a part of ViR.
