cavnessHR did the following this past week.

We attended the Business Impact NW Grow and Thrive event.  https://businessimpactnw.org/ This was the final event for eight businesses that took part in the Grow and Thrive Business expert series. They were given classes on various business subjects over the course of 3 months.   On the final day, they had tables set up to talk about their businesses and some of them even pitched their business to everyone that attended. cavnessHR took part in the Grow and Thrive as the HR part of the sessions.

On a quarterly basis, we have been providing a weekly engagement discussion to asuggestion. https://asuggestion.com/s  The discussion uses the problem, discussion, solution format. This time we discussed exit surveys and how they can be used to identify trends within your company. Then how you can use this to improve your organization.

We are continuing to build out our email list and to make sure it has all the detailed information we need. Since we are using SendGrid  https://sendgrid.com as our email marketing platform and Close.io https://close.io as our sales platform. Each platform wants the email list you input into their platform templated differently and each one asks for different information. This is taking longer than we anticipated.

We have been having meetings with various people to talk about potential investors for cavnessHR. We talk about would they be a great match for cavnessHR and what we want to accomplish. Do they invest in our space? What type of person are they? Some of this is available if you do some research. Which we did. But there is nothing like finding out about a person from someone who has dealt with them in the past.  

We are considering stepping into the live streaming area for cavnessHR. Now we do our podcasts and push them out over various platforms and use various social media to promote those podcasts. We are considering using a live stream platform called Wirecast. This would allow us to live stream our talks with our guests to FB, Twitch, YouTube, LinkedIn and other platforms. This, in theory, should gain more engagement for both cavnssHR and our guests. We would record the live streams and use them to make the podcast content. We should also be able to take out small parts of the live stream and repurpose that content.

We also plan on live streaming our HR for small business video series and let people ask us questions.
