What we really like about MadSkills is they are helping the Military Spouse employment challenge by focusing on that demographic. The unemployment rate for military spouses is the highest in the country. MadSkills can provide you a virtual team based on your requirements. cavnessHR is looking at possibly using MadSkills in the future.
We started taking the FB Blueprint course. https://www.facebook.com/blueprint This is a course that shows you how to best take advantage of FB advertising.
We met with Linda Womack https://www.linkedin.com/in/lindaleewomack/ She is the Program Director for the city of Tacoma Minority Business Development Agency https://www.mbda.gov/
Which is part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. We had a great talk about cavnessHR and she gave me some great advice on how to improve what we are doing.
We continue to meet with people about joining the cavnessHR team and with potential customers.
We took part in a one hour webinar from Semrush. https://www.semrush.com/ We have signed up for their free version and used the webinar to learn the basics of the platform. We plan on using Semrush to help us with all things marketing.
We will be redoing all the cavnessHR products to make sure they are aligned with all the upcoming changes in laws. In case you are not aware, most laws involving HR change in January.
We are still working on our fundraising. We sent a list of 41 potential angel investors to one of our Board of Advisors to receive his input and to see if we are targeting the right type of investor for cavnessHR.
We are taking part in the Nucamp Coding Bootcamp https://www.nucamp.co/home during the month of December. We are going to be learning or should I say attempting to learn HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
