Now on to our weekly update.
We spent some time prepping for the Business Impact NW video contest. Reaching out to our networks and using our social media platforms to tell people about the contest and to ask them to vote for the cavnessHR video.
We were interviewed by Raina Saxton. https://www.linkedin.com/in/raina-saxton-phr-60342857/ the interview was based on questions about HR, leadership and starting a company. Raina was doing the interview for a school project.
For our professional development. We took part in a SHRM webcast. This one was about how to hire and deal with remote workers. Which is very relevant to cavnessHR as we plan on being a remote company.
We went to the Bunker Labs Seattle Bunker Brews event. This event was done in partnership with Microsoft. We met some great people here. The topic covered M12 https://m12.vc/ and how Microsoft runs it Venture fund. The speaker also talked about various aspects of the fundraising process.
We went through our LinkedIn connections and reached out to 67 of our connections to see if they would be interested in having a conversation about them joining cavnessHR either now or in the future. Some have already set up a time to talk to me. Some have said they are not interested and I am sure some won't reply to the message.
We also reached out to 29 UX/UI people to see if they would like to connect with us. For the ones that do connect with us. We will see if they would be interested in having a conversation about joining the cavnessHR team.
We also continue to meet with people to discuss cavnessHR and the vision for cavnessHR.
We continue to work with our customers and to learn how to evolve cavnessHR in the future based on this learning.
We also continue to make progress on the tech side of cavnessHR.
